CAPTAIN JUSTIN ASCHERMAN
Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. I've been fishing the waters of
Tampa Bay with my Father since I was 4 years old. Through out my child
hood my father made sure I was involved in many sports including baseball
and football. But the one sport I enjoyed the most was fishing. At an early
age my Father and Grandfather introduced me to Tarpon fishing and
Tarpon Fishing Tournaments. At that time we fished the Budwieser Tarpon
Tournament. At that time I was the only Kid to win the Pee Wee Division
two years in a row. The first year was 138lbs and second year 142.2lbs.
That was defiantly one of my major accomplishments in my younger years.
Now that I am a Father of Two boys myself, Dalton who is 2 1/2 and Braden
who is 10 Months, I hope I will be able to pass down the love and passion I
have for fishing just like my Father and Grandfather did for me.
With the passion of fishing I possess I knew one day I wanted to be a
Charter Captain. After going straight to EMT , FireFighting, and Paramedic
school right out of graduating high school I was lucky enough to get offered
a Job at Dunedin Fire Rescue. I have been there for approx. 3 years and
already got a promotion to be a Driver of an Engine. Due to the fortunate
schedule I have of only working 10 days a month it allows me to spend
numerous days and hours on the water. After getting some time in the Fire
Service under my belt I decided to go ahead and get my USCG Captains
License. Now I am currently the owner and operator of HOT SPOTS FISHING
CHARTERS.
Now with over 20 years of fishing experience around Tampa Bay I am
devoted to giving you one of the most unforgettable fishing experiences I
can offer. Come Join me on the water.
